Torchlight is now a legendary award-winning trilogy. It’s an action RPG hack-and-slash crossover made by Runic Games. Torchlight II brings the player back into the steampunk world of secrets, treasures, dangerous monsters, and quick action.
Once again, the player takes it upon himself to save the world. The game keeps the same formula while adding amazing features, including a co-op multiplayer gameplay option. Players can choose the offline single-player mode, or join games that have already started. You can also start a new game with your friends.
The game brings a new interface that makes it easy to understand, even for new players. The world isn’t limited to the city of Torchlight, and it now features an open world with many towns, open spaces, and different weather conditions.
The whole world randomizes every time with new monsters, loot, paths, and layouts whenever the player restarts the game. After Ordrak has been defeated by the Vanquisher, the Alchemist, and the Destroyer, a few years pass, and the Alchemist becomes corrupt and destroys the city of Torchlight.
The player starts the game as a new hero with the task of tracking down the Alchemist and learning what possessed him to take part in such treachery.
The game allows players to create mods, including maps, weapons, and characters. Torchlight II also features many achievements that players can gather throughout the game. It also features a lot more content than the original game and a much larger world.
